Now that Myself and wee Angus have worked through a couple of games of Monster Island I'll be bringing in the giant Kaiju again this Saturday if anyone wants to have a bash. The battles aren't long and I'll have 4 or 5 different ones to choose from with Stats and Powers already worked out to make it all easier.

Also if you want to bring along your own figure to play, feel free. The Scale is roughly 5" or 6", so no 3 foot Godzilla models please!!! (although I appreciate you getting into the spirit of things ) The rules set lets you create your own monsters (that's what I'll be doing with the ones I bring along) - and they can be ANYTHING - monsters, robots, molten lava monsters, animated blobs, etc. Just make sure they are the right size-ish and can stand up unsupported (and probably best manage to do so under a barrage of dice rolling and table knocks!)

I've got a supplement to use later where we can have all the action in a city. Someone can even play the puny humans.

Does this mean we can go to Toys R Us, buy a Barney Figure, and destroy him?

Just a quick note to say that Angus and myself will be bringing along Monster Island this Saturday, as some folk have asked the last few weeks.

If you have ANY figure of your own you would like to use bring in along. It's dead easy to give it stats & powers. The ones I am using are around 5 or 6 inches tall. That's the ONLY guide I ask to keep the scale. A bit above or below that is fine.

And yes, Scott, I'll bring along the LOTR Balrog (and let you make up stats) - even if it's just to stop you nagging

Just a quick note, as my poor old memory can't last for the weeks of non-club time (between holidays and other matters at my house... ).

I can't remember if I said I was going to bring along (Monster Island) when the club started up again. Well I was, but unfortunately something has come up that had to be arranged for Saturday morning (nothing sinister) so Angus and myself will miss the club AGAIN this week

Next week, we'll be there. Kaiju in hand (well box). No, Scott, the balrog will not be turning up - He's got other fish ( for fish read hobbits) to fry!
