| I'll be bringing along a small Empire, 500 Point, skirmish force (one character max) for the next club meet on 17/10/09, if anyone wants a quick WHF rumble. _________________ Tim McDowall

| Thanks for the game, albeit shortened. I'll be bringing another 500 force along when the club resumes. Be prepared...I may bring an Empire real hero on the field.... _________________ Tim McDowall

| How do you 'just discover' a 1500 point army?! The mind boggles. But yes, I may aswell add the Dark Ones to my tally of foes my troops have run away from. Need all the practice I can get before the Dunfermline tourney. _________________ Tim McDowall

| As a matter of fact, it may be harder for me to win next time, as GW just published an official errata nerfing the eye of the gods bonuses. I can't roll on the table if I kill a unit champion any more... |

| I’m all up for nerfing…Empire excluded. Anyway, as a reasonably cool 90s band says, ‘you just gotta’ roll with it’. My second 2500 pt experimental battle against the VCs claimed a draw. We both deployed ‘test’ units although my cunning opponent didn’t deploy any ethereals this time…which, ahem, ‘annoyed’ me a bit with my Empire magic heavy deployment. In summary, we both learnt a lot; which has now led me to tailoring my future tourney armies. None of which will be apparent at our attempt at Dunfermline later this month…as my ideal models/unit configuration won’t be painted and ready in time. However; really looking forward to challenging you guys soon and resurrecting the Fantasy games for the club. I’ll be bringing along my army list [1500, 1999, 2250] to be used for the for the Dunfermline tourney when the club resumes, so I’m up for a practice game! _________________ Tim McDowall

| Hi Tim, If I'm not using my Empire at the tournament, I may be able to lend you units. I can't decide wheter to take my Dark Elves, Lizardmen or my Flagellant based army (Still need to paint stuff for it though and time is getting short) What sort of units were you looking for, I have a fair bit of Empire Stuff? Definately spare Steam Tanks, Cannons, Mortars, HellBlasters, Helstorms (2 of each) I also have 20 archers, 30 Free Company, possibly some Outriders and 10 Crossbowmen I also have a spare War Altar (yeah I built 2 I is for my themed army the other is "Ornate" ) I definately have all of the above spare even if I play Empire, apart from maybe outriders as they may be in my lists Brian _________________ Brian Forrester, Club Chairman and gamer of 18 years

| Thanks Brian! I now have enough units painted and ready to field to make up 2250 points, but ideally would prefer to have some units reconfigured for tourney use. Depending on how much painting I get done between now and the event, I may take you up on your offer if I need any extras. Much appreciated offer anyway. _________________ Tim McDowall

| Thanks for the offer. Friday’s can sometimes be difficult for me to escape work, so getting across to DWARF without seriously impacting game time can be a challenge. I definitely cannot attend on 20/11, however I could try for 27/11 or 04/12 if you’re interested. Alternatively, GW Livi is a good possibility at the weekends, after the Livi Battleground club meet Saturday mornings. PM me if you want to arrange something. Being a complete novice, I’m keen to get some games under my belt! _________________ Tim McDowall
